High Summer Campaign

Sunspel is a British clothing brand defined by refined simplicity, premium materials, and an understated approach to modern dressing.

The brief was to capture the High Summer collection on location in the Isles of Scilly, using the landscape and natural light to evoke a sense of ease, warmth, and seasonal escape. The films needed to feel unhurried and intimate—more like moments collected than scenes constructed.

Shot across a single day in the golden morning and evening light, the series unfolds as a slow burn, almost postcard-like in tone. Working with minimal kit alongside Buzz White’s photography, the focus stayed on speed, flexibility, and natural texture—using simple bounces and negative fill to shape the light without disturbing it. Wide coastal vistas punctuate close details of fabric and form, creating a relaxed visual rhythm that mirrors the spirit of summer and the quiet confidence of Sunspel’s design.
